Expressions provides quality, individualized therapy services dependent upon the client’s needs.
speech therapy
We do more than "traditional" speech therapy at Expressions, which isn't the right fit for kids who have persistent speech sound errors or a myofunctional disorder. We investigate underlying causes for speech errors & create an individualized treatment plan with you to address your child's needs.
myofunctional therapy
We treat functional causes of dental issues, chronic congestion, speech issues, feeding issues, sleep issues, & more by addressing necessary skills & habits to improve quality of life. We help navigate your child’s symptoms & make an individualized, intentional treatment plan for the specific needs presented. (We also see some adults for myo!)
language therapy
Does your child have difficulty expressing themselves, using an age-appropriate vocabulary, following directions, asking/answering questions, or difficulty communicating in some other way? We want to walk with you & and help you help your child make their voice heard (whether that’s verbal, sign, or AAC).
literacy therapy
We support children who struggle with letter identification, sounding out words & reading, comprehension of read information, or expressing thoughts through writing. We will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan to help your child thrive.
feeding therapy
Having a child with feeding issues can be frustrating & scary. We support you & your child as we help your child learn to nurse, use a bottle, eat solid food, expand their diet, or manage foods they do eat more efficiently. We create an individualized treatment plan that addresses your child's needs
training & consultation
Expressions provides a variety of trainings for PD days, daycares, preschools, parent groups, & more. Consultations with other SLPs on myofunctional therapy, feeding therapy, or business needs are also available. Please contact us for further information on our consult & training services.
